About Me:
Hi, I'm Xena!
Xena is a big sweetheart. She always wants to be with you and loves head scratches. She is good in a car and likes to run errands with her foster parent. She always gets shot gun and sometimes needs a little extra help getting into the car! She likes walks on the sidewalk and also likes to venture into the woods. She gets a good trot going and will let you know when shes tired and ready to go home. Her foster parent has a cat and she is very respectful as long as the cat is also respectful. She likes dogs but if they get to wild around her she will tell them to back up with a little snarl. Xena has weak and stiff back legs and has started taking glucosamine. A healthy diet and paced exercise will be life changing for Xena.
My Story:
I had a family that kept me safe and loved for 12 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my owner became very sick and realized she was no longer able to care for me. She made the heartbreaking decision to surrender me to WAG in hopes that I'll find a new family that will love me as much as my previous one did.
If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider donating to WAG so we can continue to help animals like Xena.
