We understand that contemplating surrendering your animal can be incredibly difficult. Please know that we're here to support you and your animal through this process as best we can.

At WAG, we approach each case with empathy and without judgment. We understand the difficulty of these decisions and are committed to providing compassionate assistance. Our primary aim is to keep animals with their families whenever possible. We can explore options during our surrender counseling appointments.

Due to a high volume of surrender requests, we currently have a waitlist for some adult animals and behavior cases. If WAG is not your local shelter, we encourage you to reach out to your local animal shelter or municipality for assistance. Additionally, contacting the breeder or rescue organization where you acquired your animal may also provide helpful solutions, as reputable breeders and organizations often offer support or accept animals back into their care.
