Sitka – Adoption Pending

Sitka was surrendered to WAG last week; she is a very sweet 3 year old dachshund golden retriever cross.  Sitka has a broken pelvis as a result of being hit by a car. This poor girl is very brave and is doing very well with her meds and kennel rest. We are looking for a home that will give Sitka the TLC she deserves and help her recover and who will keep her safe. She is living at a foster home at the moment as the shelter is too stressful for her and her foster mom says all Sitka wants is to be close to her and will sleep at her feet wherever she is in the house. She gets along with cats and dogs; she has a very calm and gentle demeanor and can’t wait to find her forever home!
