At the “tail end” of the World Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival is a day for dog lovers…The Whistler Dog Festival! This day is a dedication to dogs, a fundraiser for WAG (Whistler Animals Galore).

Since 1982, the goal of WAG has been to improve the lives of animals through education, advocacy, and medical care. WAG has been rescuing, caring for, and finding new homes for lost, homeless, and unwanted animals. Now we want to share some of our greatest stories!

Dog Costume Contest
Enter your dog into the parade & qualify for the costume contest! Just visit the WAG booth between 10:00am – 12:45 pm to qualify. Or drop into the Shelter before the event during office hours. Entry is by donation.
Find out what our dogs do!
We will have performers providing strategic and exciting entertainment from 10:00 am – 4:00pm. You won’t believe what these dogs can do! Agility, Frisbee and Tricks by The K9 Incredibles and Freestyle Dance by Paws 2 Dance.
There will be exhibitors showing you what is available to keep your dog happy in the sea to sky corridor.
Just for the Kids
They will love the parade! Drop by the WAG booth the day of DogFest or drop by the shelter before to sign up.
Face painters will be around to give the true doggy look! All by donation.
