About Me:
Hi I’m Bugs! I came to WAG with my two siblings when we were found alone a few hours north of Whistler. We were only little babies and we were thought to be orphaned. Some kind humans helped us out, kept us warm and looked for a rescue who had space to be able to take us in. They looked all over for our mom but there was no word of her. We went to the vet as we were so tiny and had sore bellies, we were only thought to be around 4 weeks old so needed lots of extra care and love. Added to that, we had a special feature – two of us have mini tails and one of us had no tail at all, this has been monitored and seems to not be impacting our day to day lives balance-wise etc and so on.
Now that we have reached 8 weeks old, we are old enough and well enough to have our 1st vaccines and are ready to leave WAG and find loving homes of our own. We were super shy when we arrived, but we have been gaining confidence and showing our little personalities more and more each day. We love playing together and running around the cat room we are in but we hope to find homes of our own soon. We’d likely enjoy being adopted in a pair, or a single if there is another young cat in the home we can befriend and spend time with as we continue to learn all about the world around us.
I am SO excited that it is my turn to find my own family, to love me and keep me safe forever and ever soon. My Story:
I was brought to WAG by a concerned citizen when me and my two siblings were found alone and cold at a gas station in Cache Creek. Our mom was nowhere to be found and we were brought to WAG for care as we were little babies and found to have special needs. We have been to the vet twice and are doing really well healthwise now after a month at the warm shelter being fed, weighed and more each day since.
WAG can often have litters of kittens in our care, although adorable they do take a lot of time and resources so if you can, please consider donating to WAG’s Critical Care Program so we can help orphans like these when they need us the most.
