Lindsay has been an integral part of of the WAG team since 2009. She has over a decade of experience in animal rehabilitation, rescue and welfare! As Director of Animal Behaviour and Welfare she designs all training programs and oversees their implementation with staff, volunteers and adopters, assessing all animals and determining their specific needs. This encompasses many aspects of behaviour knowledge and experience as WAG sees a range of animals suffering from behaviour and welfare challenges.
She started volunteering for WAG in 2009 and fell in love with rescue work and helping homeless animals find their forever homes.
Since then she has worked with thousand of animals with a range of behavioural and health care needs such as aggression, reactivity, fear, anxiety, stranger danger, resource guarding, rehabilitating feral animals, tending to the special care needs of seniors, sick and injured... the list goes on!
Her passion in life is to increase enrichment and happiness while decreasing fear and stress in all animals.
