WAG’s 2024 Calendar Pet Photo Contest
Back by popular demand, it's WAG's Calendar Photo Contest!
Take a picture of your pet enjoying themselves on a Summer adventure, enter our photo contest, and you could WIN some amazing prizes!
Plus, this is your chance for bragging rights and to get your animal featured in WAG's 2024 Calendar.
Have fun and be creative!
HOW TO ENTER:
Step 1: Make a minimum donation of $20.00 per photo via e-transfer to wag@whistlerwag.com. Make sure in the e-transfer notes you specify Summer Calendar Contest and your name. If you contribute anonymously we will not be able to confirm your donation.
Step 2: Submit your photo via email to [email protected]
Once your photo is received we will post it on our social media, so don't forget to follow along and check out the competing photos! @whistlerwag
Photo Rules:
- Photos must be Landscape position (otherwise we have to crop a bunch out if you get in the calendar!)
- Photos must be High Resolution (so they are not blurry when blown up to calendar size).
DEADLINE: August 31st, 2023 @ 7pm.

Spring Fling Online Auction for Critical Care Animals
As most of our followers are already aware, WAG has had a very busy start to 2023. We have had over 70 animals come through our doors!! This includes 2 litters of puppies and 4 litters of kittens. Nearly 20 of those 70 animals have been Critical Care cases. Critical Care is defined as any medical need or expense that goes above and beyond the routine deworming, vaccination, and spay-neuter protocol.
The shelter staff have been working tirelessly to care for all of these special animals and their varying needs of aid. In order to continue to help all these amazing animals we need your support.
WAG is hosting an Online Auction for our Critical Care animals. 100% of the proceeds from this online auction will go directly to our Critical Care program. Helping those animals who need it the most.

Online Auction begins Saturday, May 27th at 10am.
Auction ends Sunday, June 11th at 7pm.
The auction will end at the Pups + Pints event on the afternoon of June 11th at Coast Mountain Brewing. Supporters are encouraged to come out with their dogs, enjoy some tasty beverages and finish up the auction.
**All bidding will still go through our online website but if you are onsite at the end of the auction you get to take your item home that evening**

WAG MATCHING CAMPAIGN 2022!
The results from our 2022 Matching Campaign are in........
We are very excited to report that we raised $35,700 during the month of December and with Whistler's Mogul's Coffee House & Zogs Dogs $20,000 matching donation we raised a total of $55,700
Massive thank you to Moguls Coffee House and Zogs Dogs for their ongoing support of everything WAG. And a very special thank you to everyone who donated. It is thanks to support from people like yourself that we are able to raise these critical funds for the animals who need it the most.

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA – Saturday 3rd Dec!
Whistler's Animal Shelter is hosting Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday, December 3rd at the Westin Hotel & Spa in Whistler from 12pm - 4pm.
It is a minimum $20 donation with all proceeds going to WAG! (Cash preferred, e-transfer also available).
Have a nervous or reactive dog? Reach out to [email protected] to book a time slot for your photos at the end of the day.
We will have volunteers on hand to help make sure you and your animal feel safe. Bookings for these photos will be between 3:45pm-4pm.
We can't wait to see you all there!
Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) is a not for profit animal shelter and rehabilitation center. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to homeless and lost dogs and cats in our community and to be advocates in finding their forever homes. Spring Fling Online Auction for Critical Care Animals
Let's grow some funds for WAG's Critical Care animals at our Spring Fling Online Auction. In the first few months of 2022 WAG has already had over ten Critical Care Animals requiring extra vet visits and surgeries. From leg amputations, to urinary blockages to Diabetic senior cats, and many more, WAG has some expensive veterinary bills to cover. 100% of proceeds from this online auction will go directly to helping cover those costs.
Grab some sweet items and help those animals in the most need!

WAG'S MONTH OF LOVE IS BACK!
Each year, WAG celebrates February as our Month of Love - a month of fun campaigns and fundraisers, all celebrating LOVE!
This year has been such a successful year for WAG, we thought we would scale back our usual activities, and just take a moment to appreciate those furry family members who make all the hard work worthwhile!
CREEKBREAD PIZZA NIGHT FOR WAG:
Join us on FEBRUARY 15th for some delicious Creekbread Pizza takeout!
Partial proceeds of every pizza sold will be donated to WAG that night - YUM!
LOVE ME TINDER:
Send us your pet's best ONLINE DATING PROFILE PIC and TAGLINE and we will send some lucky entries some WAG Swag!
Snap a photo of what your pet would post as their online dating profile pic and what their tagline would be, and you could get some sweet swag in return! WAG will post the photos and pick-up lines on our social media and website. We will select some entries at random to receive some sweet swag like our 2022 WAG calendar, photo books, hoodies, and more!
