WAG would like to honor the memory and legacy of Hollow Tree creator, animal advocate, WAG-supporter, and friend, Tobias Douglas by building and installing a memorial bench and plaque for our outdoor dog run.

It was very important to WAG to honor her in some way at the shelter, as she has been so integral to our success, so we decided on a memorial bench.

It was also very important to include a natural element in this project, so this bench has two planters, which will allow us to include some much needed life and greenery to this particular dog run. This will provide enrichment for the dogs, beautify the space, and allow for a quiet moment to sit and be thankful for Tobias while surrounded by the dogs she so loved.

We feel this captures a tiny piece of the essence of Tobias' life, her Hollow Tree legacy, her love for all things nature, and her love for improving the lives of shelter animals.

We need to raise a minimum of $500 to cover the costs for this tribute and we have the BEST way for you to help!

WAG will be selling Hollow Tree candles with 100% of the proceeds benefiting this memorial project. We will only have 12 available for this campaign, so it will be first come, first served! Each candle will be a minimum of $40 donation, but feel free to donate more! Tax receipts will be available for any extra that is donated and any extra funds raised will be donated directly to WAG's Critical Care Medical Fund.
