A Shelter Full of Hope and Promise

Bart aka Pitchoun – Adopted July 2015

Bart was one of our four Simpson puppies which were surrendered to WAG from Mt. Currie in early summer 2015. Bart was such a chunky little puppy and just wanted love and cuddles – while his siblings rambunctiously played, he would sit at your feet looking up at you, hoping for your undivided attention. We were so sad to see him go, but we are grateful that he now has the undivided attention of his new family!

Now known as Pitchoun by his furever family, Bart has grown into an active, friendly, and adventurous dog. We can’t believe what a handsome boy he is now!

He has been such a great dog, gentle, friendly, loving everyone particularly kids, a real social butterfly and we often call him our “kissy boy” as he loves to kiss everyone all the time!

He loves playing with other dogs small and big, camping, jumping on the trampoline, swimming and relaxing in a sitting position! (see picture on the bench!). He is the best dog ever!

Bart’s new family’s daughter even shares her birthday with him! On Bart’s first birthday, he got to have pupcakes while his two-legged family had cupcakes. Sounds like you’ve found the perfect family, Bart/Pitchoun!

We are very happy to have adopted Pitchoun as he has changed our life so much in a very good way.
